Labels, labels, personally I don’t think too much of them but I had to come up with a name for this new and exciting pilot class at DogLogic and I think this one gets the point across. You know if you have one of those dogs who would just as soon run off to meet other class members or play hunt the training area if given the opportunity. That’s because, well, they are dogs, but wouldn’t it be nice to have some idea of what to do if that happens or what you might work on to make that scenario less likely?

This class is designed to benefit all dogs but may be of particular interest to those of you who have dogs that have trouble separating themselves from their environment long enough to concentrate on the new skills you are trying to teach them.

This eight-week class session teaches a series of games and techniques to help your dog feel more comfortable in his environment and ready to learn from you. Included in the enrollment fee are seven, hour long group classes with dog, an hour’s private lesson for you and your dog (to be taken within the eight weeks and arranged to our mutual calendars) and a group orientation without dog on week one of the session.
